Botox Results & Recovery

With our gentle and experienced approach, our patients get the maximum benefit of BOTOX while still looking natural and refreshed.Botox results generally last four to six months. As muscle activity gradually returns, the wrinkles and creases resurface and will need further treatment. However, with the continued use of BOTOX, the lines and wrinkles appear less and less over time as the skin above the muscle has a chance to relax and smooth out.Although rare, a small amount of bruising is possible anytime an injection is performed. Some patients have reported a mild headache following Botox treatment, but this is rare. An even smaller percentage of patients may develop eyelid drooping. This is only temporary, however, and usually resolves within a week or two if it occurs. Drooping can appear when the Botox moves around, so it is important to refrain from rubbing or pressing the treated area for at least 12 hours after the procedure and maintaining a head-up position.
